Standard return policy:

It’s very important to me that you be completely happy with anything you buy from me, and I stand behind my jewelry 100%. If there’s a problem with any regular store item, or it doesn’t completely meet your expectations I’ll cheerfully replace it, fix it, or refund your money within 30 days of purchase.

When returning items, please package them securely (original packaging is preferred but not required) and use a trackable shipping method.  Valuable items should be insured.  I am not responsible for loss or damage occurring in shipping back to me.

This return policy does not apply to items altered by the customer or items damaged after receipt. Items modified at your request before shipping are subject to my custom order return policies (see below).

If your jewelry becomes in need of repair, I will fix it at no cost provided that it has not been subjected to unreasonable abuse. This policy does not extend to the replacement of gemstones missing from or removed from jewelry; I will perform the repair but the customer is responsible for the cost of the replacement gem.

With the exception of items that have special care notes and/or warnings about their fragile nature, my jewelry is designed to be worn by people with active lifestyles. No jewelry should be worn in a chlorinated pool, but you should be able to sleep and shower in it.

Please read below for important exceptions to this return policy.

Custom Orders

Custom order/custom made items (including rings, special requests, and engraving)

Payment in full is due up front for custom orders, and custom made items may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged.  Please understand these items are custom made for you and are difficult or impossible to re-sell. This includes rings, custom engraved diamonds, and all other items made to your specifications.

When shipping items of financial or sentimental value to me for repair, alteration, or recycling, please use an insured and traceable shipping method; I cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged during shipping to me.

Customer-owned stones are accepted for custom setting only at the customer’s risk. Gemstones are occasionally cracked or damaged during setting, and by submitting a gem for setting you are accepting that risk and releasing us from any responsibility financial or otherwise.

Rapid Special Order

These are noted as “rapid special order” items in the item description.

Rapid Special Order items are not returnable unless defective.

Unset Gemstones

Unset (loose) gemstones may be returned unaltered within 15 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Gems that have been damaged while in your care or during shipping back to me will not be accepted for return. Moral of the story? Don’t drop them or have your neighbor who took a jewelry course in college a few years back try to set them for you  😉

If you would like to send a gem you have purchased to a gemologist or gem lab for inspection, I am happy to extend the return period for that purpose. Just let me know which lab you are sending the stone to and what their turnaround time is and I’ll wait until they are finished.
