Designed with a flat back for comfort - wear them to sleep at night or nap in your earrings! Also for upper lobe piercings if your piercer used flat backs. Made from premium F136 titanium—the crème de la crème of titanium alloys and a great choice for those with sensitive skin. 

I wanted to offer flat back helix cartilage studs with real gemstones because I couldn't find what I was looking for when I got my helix pierced. So whether you’re shopping for a piercing-obsessed friend or treating yourself to some love, these are the perfect way to add a little pop of color to your life.

Star Set Gemstones

There’s a reason you don’t see a lot of real gemstones set in titanium—titanium is strong and durable, but also brittle and rigid, so it can’t be shaped or filed to fit the cut of a stone like gold or silver can. This means the gemstones have to be perfectly shaped to fit the setting. CZ is machine-cut for this kind of precision, but real gems are often hand-cut or cut at different angles to maximize their natural beauty. Here, I've gone rogue and work around this by using a slightly larger setting, which gives the earring a brilliant star profile making it perfect for celestial sets.

If you’re working with tight ear space, note that while the stone itself is the size you choose (like 4mm), the prongs will add about 1 to 1.5mm to the total width. So that 4mm gem might end up closer to 5.5mm across where the prongs sit.

Press fit posts and backs provide a secure, comfortable, and interchangeable option for jewelry piercings. Since you don't have to remove the back, you can easily change the front-facing components of your earring. This is especially useful on newer cartilage piercings when you want variety, but cannot remove the back yet due to healing. These threadless, press-fit, flat-backed options for wearing jewelry securely in various piercings such as ear lobes, tragus, conch, helix, nostrils, and more, providing endless choices for quick customization. These earrings cannot be used with standard friction backs. If you've never used this style before, please be aware that inserting the post from the back of the ear requires some extra dexterity. A small tool called a piercing taper is highly recommended if you'll be doing this on your own.
