Rainbow moonstone has an iridescent electric multicolored flash when viewed at certain angles, and is a June birthstone. No two pairs are alike! Some have distinct rainbows, others have more blended colors. A relatively small number of the moonstones we get in are rainbow as opposed to them more common blues. The base color is a milky white; moonstone is inherently imperfect and it is in the nature of the material to have visible inclusions and seams.
